The Quiet

After her widowed father dies, deaf teenager Dot moves in with her godparents, Olivia and Paul Deer. The Deers' daughter, Nina, is openly hostile to Dot, but that does not prevent her from telling her secrets to her silent stepsister, including the fact that she wants to kill her lecherous father.

Outstanding movie all 'round. How did I ever miss it on the big screen? Superb writing, good flow, and director Rafelson gets everything he could want from the actors and technical professionals. In short, well put together

This movie is now my all time favorite movie. The directing and acting was great. The filming angles, especially in the opening credits and bringing scenes of the movie, were unforgettable. Well done
